to Help Agriculture For all FoundatioN
Agriculture For All Foundation (AFAF) will earn bonus dollars and have a chance to earn prizes for every gift given online through ArkansasGives.org from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. “Your online donation April 7 will help AFAF “succeed in eradicating hunger and educating our community on nutritional health,” said Elizabeth Devlin.
Last year ArkansasGives raised $2 million online in one day for more than 350 nonprofits statewide. This year’s goal is $4 million. Arkansas Community Foundation has set up a $400,000 bonus pool to be divided among the charities participating statewide. In addition, AFAF will compete for additional cash prizes from First Security Bank that will be awarded to the organizations that raise the most individual donations and most total dollars. The public will be able to give online from smartphones, tablets or personal computers by going to ArkansasGives.org, choosing AFAF and making a credit card donation.
AFAF’s motto is “Growing, Caring, Harvesting, and Sharing ”We GROW our vegetables organically; we CARE for our community by educating them about healthy eating; we come together and HARVEST our produce; and we SHARE with those who need it most. “For one day, givers throughout Arkansas will have one easy way to give through Arkansas Community Foundation’s ArkansasGives.org site,” said Elizabeth Devlin.
